This test is in two parts, each of which has ten pre-set tests.
On phase one the examiner will role play a new driver who has limited understanding of how to drive. As the instructor, you will be expected to teach the new driver a subject from one of the pre-set tests. You will need to give a briefing on the chosen subject whilst stationary, then instruct the driver to complete this in a controlled manner while on the move.
On phase two the examiner will role play a learner driver who is coming up to test standard but is not there yet, and needs help and advice on how to improve their driving to the required standard.
